Alright. Okay. Maybe this wasn’t a disaster after all, just a blessing in disguise. Techie gingerly picked Addie up and thanked Ren before heading for his room once more. They were going to have to pack, decide where to go, and…also buy Adeline some new clothes because hers were much too big for her now.

Matt watched her while Techie got everything in order for their trip. In the end, he decided on a safe, touristy planet good for families. He didn’t bother to remember the name, it had a bunch of numbers in it, and anyways they’d only be there three weeks max.

A few days later, they were all packed and ready to go. Techie held tightly to Adeline’s hand, afraid that she might try to wander off. She was doing that more than ever now that all her memories of Techie had been erased.
