“I’m so an-anesth-thetiz-ed that I just feel… A l-little hyper?” He grins at MP and moves his pupils around to show them off. “MP, my eyes are n-new! They hurt a little but they f-fit me well and are supposed to be more bio-friendly. Whatever th-that means!” He takes her by the hand and pulls her into a warm hug.
She smiles broadly, & returns the hug. “I’m so glad you’re doing better. Your brother & I checked with the doctor, & he said you did really well. He was really good about keeping me updated with everything going on. I know a lot of people say your brother is cold, but I don’t think hey know him very well. He’s been nothing but kind to me.” She says thoughtfully.
“Oh I almost forgot, I brought you something! Here these are for you,” she says handing him a small arrangement of sunflowers. “I wasn’t sure what sort of flowers you liked, but I thought these would brighten things up nicely. Also I wanted to get you a little something to congratulate you on your new name, & getting a girlfriend! I’m so happy for you! Sarah is really sweet,I think she’s perfect for you.” she says brightly.
“MP!” he squealed, feeling over the moon as he took the beautiful sunflowers into his arms. He buried his face in them, breathing in to see if they smelled like anything. “I didn’t really h-have a favorite flower before, but I d-do now!”
At the mention of Sarah, his cheeks colored and he placed the sunflowers on the nightstand. “Thank you. I’m r-really happy that I have you as a friend in my life… S-sometimes I just don’t have enough words to explain *how* much!”
