✦ Yes, actually! At first I saw Techie as a character who, due to his traumatic history, would shy away from sexual relationships and remain celibate. More and more I was fascinated by the idea of Techie with “shameful” desires and unorthodox kinks due to his past with MaMa, and a few brief discussions I’ve had with @nsfwdisco sold me on this interpretation!

✎ I desperately wish that some of his life pre-MaMa would be discussed, at least in the new comic. Where was he born? What would he have been like if he’d never ended up at Peach Trees? There’s a lot to wonder about! 

❀ I’ve discussed this privately with @the-knightof-ren (thank you for bouncing ideas with me <3)  but haven’t straight out said it: my personal HC is that Techie is an addict of anything that’ll make him feel better. He’s used slow-mo, and has a horrible dependence on energy drinks. He may have experimented with other addictive substances too. This one seems to be confirmed somewhat by the new comic!
