The possibility that this is all a dream is too scary to consider, but his hold tightens on Hux’s sleeve all the same.
He blinked back tears of joy. Never ever in his life had Techie been treated so kindly. Physical affection was not his strong point, but he went in for a hug anyway; it was the least he could do!
Snuggled up into the crook of his brother’s neck, Techie whispered, “Th-thank you!”
