For their first wedding anniversary, Phasma promised Techie something really special. Of course he had no idea what it could be; she made sure of that! So he’d been cleaning his saxophone early that morning when, out of nowhere, he hears a familiar sound in the distance:
“Oooh, my heart’s on fire, with sweet desire, for romance…”
Techie’s heart leaps into his throat. Phasma is singing to him! But where is her voice coming from? He strains to hear, yet the wind proves tricky.Â
Despite not being a singer, Techie gets an idea and sings his reply to her in a clear, loud voice:
“I’m here, beloved, but where must I go?”
(It’s a good thing he doesn’t write any songs for the band.)
She sings a simple note and holds it for an astoundingly long time until Techie manages to locate where it’s coming from and pulls her into a hug. “If you wanted me to come see you, you sh-should have just asked,” Techie smiles, and peppers her face with kisses.
