Techie’s spending his New Year’s Eve alone in his quarters when there’s a knock at the door. That’s… odd. Rarely does he get visitors, and Hux just puts in the override code. When he opens the door, Phasma towers over him, dressed not in her chrome armor but a formal dress. Techie’s lips open as if to speak, but nothing comes out.

Phasma gives him a smile. “There are five minutes left until the new year.”

Techie nods, uncomprehending. Is he getting fired?? What is going on? She places her hand upon his shoulder and is completely silent for four minutes.

“Is… everything okay?” Phasma shifts, a little uncomfortable.

“I would like to kiss you.” There’s not much Techie can say to that…

So they lean in and share a sweet kiss for the New Year.
