Matt’s face flushed as he looked at the roses that were still clutches in his hands. Slowly his eyes rose to meet techies again a small smile spreading on his face. He sucked in a deep breath as he forced himself to keep his gaze steady with techies. He had bought the roses and now he was going to through with this. That’s what he told himself at least, not chicken out like he’d done every other time that he found himself in a similar situation.
“ t-they’re for you.”

Stunned, Techie took the flowers into his arms and gazed up at Matt with undisguised adoration. “M-Matt, they’re beautiful! Thank you!”

He pressed a quick kiss to his cheek and smiled before nuzzling his nose into the petals and taking a deep breath of their wonderful fragrance.
