As a newbie who’s joined the fandom after TLJ, I was wondering. Those of you who have been around since TFA, how did your perception of the ship change? Did you hate the shift in the dynamic? Were you living for it? Or was it just ‘meh ‘ for you?

Fannish activity-wise, do you consume everything? Do strictly stay in your classic Kylux/Emperor Hux/etc corner or are you excited to explore SL Kylo and the new possibilities for the ship?

I think for noobs, it kinda feels like entering fandom through the back door (so to speak :D) because so many of us have joined right in the middle of the post-TLJ fic wave, so we just float there for a while before branching out to the aus and the classic stuff. It’s all in reverse.

Newbies, what are you most into? Do you start out with TFA fics or are you all about that post-TLJ dynamic? I know I am! (but tbh I also have a soft spot for classic!Kylux plotting against Snoke.) Let me hear your opinions.
