That’s what I really love about this fandom. 

Everybody is just so… chill. No endless debates (”Can Snape ever be forgiven or is he evil?” – “IS Harry/Hermione canon?” – “Is liking GoT anti-feminist?”), everybody is really great at tagging (”undernegotiated kink” is my favourite. I wish I could print stickers of that tag and tag the entire romance department at our local bookstore with it), everybody’s just so freaking nice. 

And even within the fandom itself, from what I’ve seen – no huge debate about whether it’s possible for Bruce Wayne to bottom or if that would make the world literally explode, just, “Oh, you like Top!Kylo? k, cool.”

I fucking love this fandom

Even if you think these baes need redemption there’s still no denying they’ve done some really shitty stuff and are really quite destructive. Also the point that they’re pretty shamelessly sexual, and that’s some quite rare stuff – most fandoms revolve around sexuality in some form, but there’s always some part that argue about love more then sex, and how sexual they really are.

Meanwhile kylux is like “here’s Kylo being a cumslut, also Hux is a pornstar, but in their free time they share fluffy moment” and everyones like ‘I’m not gonna read some of that stuff bcs its not my kink/it might trigger me, but I found these consentacles-fics instead…’ and its just, cool.

It’s really freeing being able to be so open about sexual interests without it being controversial
