• Hux as desperately wanting to prove he can train someone, that he knows how to do it
• Hux as worried that after Finn’s defection, Kylo won’t trust him to know how to take care of him.
• Hux agonizing over scenes, because they have to go perfectly.
• Hux as not believing in top drop, because if he were strong enough, he wouldn’t worry so much.
• Hux as constantly obsessing over exactly which minute thing Kylo reacted to in their last scene, and trying to make sure he includes exactly that the next time they meet.
• Hux as not trusting his need to make Kylo hurt – is that ok? should he be feeling this? Is this right?

Hux as a dom and also as a lump of anxiety
