So, I’m finally back from the hospital. I couldn’t take anything out of isolation when I was done, so I obviously wasn’t bringing my phone or laptop. I did, however, bring snacks and printouts of some of my favorite fics to keep me sane company. I want to do a quick shout out to the authors of those fics! (Also, your work has been ritually sacrificed to a hospital incinerator, take that however you like lol)

by @gefionne (Rated E and T respectively, Armitage Hux/ Kylo Ren) (I do not have the words to describe how much I love Flyboys. It was the first one that I put on my list when I decided to bring fic for reading material. All of Gef’s work is lovely and it never fails to make me laugh and cry and remember why I joined this fandom!)

Verd Ori’shya Beskar’gam by @kaasknot 

(Rated E, Plo Koon/Wolffe)

(This fic, while not as sexual as many of my TCW faves, checks so many boxes for me! I’m utterly in love with the writing style and world-building)

A Man With a Beard by @ibreathethroughwords (Series, Rated E, Alexsandr Kallus/Everybody) (For a crack fic, this series explores a lot of deeper ideas and the smut is A++. Yes, I printed the entire series, of which 

Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down is my favorite!)

Strange Satisfaction by @saltandbyrne (Rated E, Clan Techie/Matt the Radar Technician) (I don’t play the fandom politics game. This is one of my favorite xeno fics, and the fluff was a great pick-me-up during the last two weeks!)

6 and 7) 

Dollars to Donuts and Blowout

by @heyktula (Rated E, Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren) (What can I say, I was with DTD from chapter one, and have really enjoyed watching it evolve! Plus, I totally have a virgin kink)(I really like Hux’s characterization and fuck up mind in TftOR)

8) Storm Passes Away by @marlonbookcase (Series, Rated M, Armitage Hux/Kylo Ren) (I always come back to this series when depression is really kicking my ass. It’s basically the softest story imaginable. Heart eyes, motherfucker.)

To Be of Service by @asherephraim (Rated E, Dopheld Mitaka/Kylo Ren/Armitage Hux) (Another fic I’ve been with since the beginning. I’m really into psychological themes, and it was a delight to watch the characters grow over time. Also, major kudos for SSC/RACK themes)

Linear Feedback Shift Registers by @favomancer (Rated M, Paul Sevier/Caleb Smith) (Again, psychological themes and top-notch world building. I’m also delighted that “soft nerd kissing” is a tag that exists!)

Stone and Sand by @sassysnowperson​ (E, Bodhi Rook/Luke Skywalker) (I have too many feeling about this fic, even after all this time! Slow burn-y, Hurt/Comfort masterpiece, and I’m in love with the Jedhan worldbuilding!)

14) come home with the rains by rosepetalfall (E, Poe Dameron/Luke Skywalker) (I am all about Academia AUs, and this one is so beautifully developed.)

These are all fics that I have re-read so often that it wasn’t even out of the ordinary to read them again and have them with me, which is absolutely my defense for forgetting them in my original post!Thank you all, again!
