just imagine kylo and hux being parted for a long time whilst kylo is on a mission and it’s agony for the both of them
and when kylo comes back, hux is running across the hangar bay to him and leaps into kylo’s arms, who twirls hux around before setting him down and just holding him close
the officers of the hangar bay disperse quickly and quietly, wanting to give their leaders some privacy as they’re reunited
kylo whispers to hux that he’s missed him so much that he thought his heart had been torn in two, and hux combs his fingers through kylo’s hair, kissing his cheeks and forehead as though each press of his lips guarantees them more time together
they cling onto each other for a moment longer before parting, holding hands and retiring to their bed chambers where they slowly undress each other, bathe together before slipping beneath the sheets to hold each other again, both desperately reaching out to the other like a drowning man clutching at his lifeline
they’re so in love that a lack of the other’s touch hurts
