I never recorded my drawing before, but this week I decided to do a time lapse video of my inking. You will see why I never shot a video, it´s a mess, haha. The joy and sorrow of digital drawing, amirite.
Initially, I wanted to have the comic finished today, but this week I got the chance to do a storyboard test for a really cool franchise, so I had to take a little break from my comic pages. I should be finished next week though, and then I will tell you what this is all about : )

happy MerMay! I ran a mermen ask/art blog for two years, so I figured I was due to step up this year😂 Kylo’s an orca because 1) they’re my favorite animal and 2) they’re powerful killers. Hux is a lionfish because 1) they fit Hux’s color profile and 2) they’re pretty but deadly.
one of my favorite details is the blade strapped to Hux’s arm – a nod to both Hux’s hidden monomolecular blade and his general rank bands. if you like what you see, stay tuned because @kyluxtrashcompactor is writing something!! (PS. there’s a process gif under the cut.)
