🍸Burned-Out Businessman Hux & Bartender Poe for @sitharmitage 🍸

“Okay Red, not to sound like that cliche bartender, but what’s eatin’ ya?”

“What makes you think something’s… bothering me?”

“Come on, you’ve been in here three nights this week. Did Burberry discontinue your favorite cologne?”

“Oh, are you adding comedian to your list of job titles now?”

“Just spill, Hux. I swear I can be a good listener.”

“Its not- oh fine. Since I know you won’t shut up about this. I’ve… Have you ever worked your whole bloody life for something and then realized maybe it was someone else’s dream?”

“Well, if you’re ever looking for a new direction we could use some more help around here.”

“Shouldn’t you consult with the owner before handing out unsolicited job offers?”

“Lucky for you Red, you’re talking to the owner.”

Flyboys, chapter 21, by @gefionne ♥

I just wanted to recreate this mythical chapter of Flyboys. It’s one of the chapter that moved me the most (with chapters 16 and 17 of course.

And if you haven’t read it yet and you ship Kylux (or just like the WW2 period) I highly recommand this fanfiction!

So, because I am an idiot (okay, I have been sneezing most of my semi-essential brains out for four days.  I don’t know what is blooming, but I HATE IT), it has taken me days to upload this stunning commission from @elviscl.  I commissioned kylux from a future scene in my AO3 fic, Nodus Tollens.

I spent so much time squeeing over the lineart and the finished product, I can’t even tell you.  And she was even nice enough to tag which of the images she sent me was best for uploading; because I otherwise wouldn’t have had a clue.
