A daughters distrust
Frustrated, Techie waited outside and refused to leave until they finished up and came out.
Addie was finally released from training she went to a room and gave him the look of I have to meditate on my training.
Techie’s hopefuly smile vanished. “Addie, h-hey… Can I talk w-with you?” He wrung his hands and watched her closely.
A flash of red caught his eye. There weren’t that many red-heads around after all. “Hux! We need to discuss–” his vocoder voice cut off mid sentence as he finally got a decent look at the man. It wasn’t the General, but… “How…? Who are you?” he demanded. -kylocanyounot
Techie froze and felt ice run through his veins. Why is Kylo Ren, of all people, talking to him?! The blood is pulsing so hard in his ears that he doesn’t even know what the man is saying, and can only stare blankly at him.
“Um, ah,” he says, very intelligently.
And then bolts for the nearest exit.
There’s something in his eyes that begs Ren not to probe further. One more little push and Techie is certain he’ll say something he shouldn’t. “Let’s eat some c-cake,” he offers instead, anxious.

He puts his hand on Ren’s shoulder and gives a little friendly squeeze.
