Each of her cries stabbed his heart, HARD. She’s safe with Ren, he chants to himself, He’s got the Force so he can protect her. Not me. I’m just a big baby who can’t even take care of his family.
It becomes too much, and Techie chases after Ren and Adeline, shouting, “Wait! Wait! A-Addie! It’ll just be for a l-little bit! I’ll be back, I s-swear!”
Kylo pressed a small button on his helmet, brows furrowed at the message. He knew who, just not wide. It played quietly to him inside the helmet, and thank the stars he was wearing it. He’s was three shades of red and fairly concerned.
He stalked down to the levels of the ship where he likely lived and using the information he could conjure up in the ship’s data bank found his room.
“What was that?!” He balked, still more embarrassed than anything, but at least hidden.
Techie’s eyes slowly shut and his eyebrows furrow. “I don’t… I don’t r-remember anything from l-last night,” he admits with a huff. Then he scrubs at his eyes and peers back at Ren. “Did I do a-an-anything weird?”
He slid out of bed and took one of her hands, carefully putting one of his on her waist like he’d seen in holovids. Techie stood very close to her and blushed bright red. “N-now what?”
Send “!!!” for my muse to jump out from behind a corner, trying to startle your muse. @techiehux
BO1289 had intended to catch a fellow trooper by surprise. It was all about making sure that he was always on his guard as part of the training process. They had been given a troopers name written on a paper, told not to tell each other who it was, and to report back their findings on the soldier in question.
So imagine his surprise when he jumped out from the corner of a hallway and bellowed his loudest warcry-only for it to be in a small, defenseless man’s face.
Woops.
His ragged, heavy breathing continued on for a few moments, until he loosened his grip on his head and peered up at BO1289. “R-really? I’m n-not in- I’m not in tr-trouble?” Techie’s big blue eyes gave a quiet whirr as they focused on BO1289’s face.
Techie froze and felt ice run through his veins. Why is Kylo Ren, of all people, talking to him?! The blood is pulsing so hard in his ears that he doesn’t even know what the man is saying, and can only stare blankly at him.
“Um, ah,” he says, very intelligently.
And then bolts for the nearest exit.
“M-maybe… maybe this is something you sh-should explore for yourself. For a long t-time I listened to others over myself and I was m-miserable!”
Techie grimaces with the thought and he lets go of Ren’s arms, red rising on his cheeks. It was not surprising that Ren would be muscular, but his arms had felt firm and comforting under Techie’s fingers.

As if noting Ren’s presence for the first time, Techie’s eyes go wide and he grabs the covers, pulling them up over his mouth. “Wh-what! What are y-you doing here?!”
“I’m Bill,” he said, pointing to the little tag on his technician’s uniform. “B-but nost people call me Techie. So… Techie is g-good too.” He watches her eat for a long, silent moment.
“Why a-are you here, Nao?”
