1. I’m glad that our interest is shared, it is nice to have more company. 2. Not just shared. It is a whole graphic novel, as I see. So, both story and art. That’s cool. 3. It is high quality content.
Second – why my feelings are mixed
1. “Bill Huxley” looks like a wink to the fans. But names are intended to highlight something about the character. That’s why we have Armitage Hux and not Lucien Hux, judge Cassandra but not judge Medea. Bill Huxley sounds like someone with a firm handshake.
2. And so he looks. Like a cool guy with firm handshake, square jaw and washboard abs. I’m not against that version, but the movie never prepared me for this.
3. That may be my own problem – I don’t know the plot, only snippets from people I follow. So… Work, apartment, wife and son? That’s what happens after mafia rip out your eyes? It is, I don’t know, predictable generally, like a universal treatment to any hero malady, but somehow unpredictable in case of Techie, I think.
Techie let out a loud laugh and groped around blindly for Sarah’s hand. “You don’t h-have to call me B-Bill if you don’t want to. Mostly I like to kn-know it’s there if I w-want to use it, that’s all. That it belong to m-me.”
He starts to unwrap all the bandages from around his eyes and adds, “Anyways, I’m n-not used to being called B-Bill yet.”
