“Th-there was an accident with her chem set,” Techie sobs, and sets the dozing Adeline down on Ren’s bed gently. Out of his mind with grief, Techie flings himself into Ren’s arms, blindly seeking comfort.

“A-addie? Ad-ddie? Addie! Wh-why are y-you s-so small? Are you o-okay?” He clutches onto her as if for dear life, cradling her close to his chest.
“My b-baby girl,” he sobs.
She looked at him confused because she didn’t know who he was
“It’s T-Techie, remember? Un- uncle Techie? Y-your papa?” His eyes get wider and wider. This can’t be happening!
She tilted her head confused she wanted to tell him something anything but couldn’t
Techie races through the hallways with Adeline securely in his arms, uncaring of what looks he might get. He gets to Ren’s door and smashes his fist against it, screaming, “REN, REN, PLEASE, IT’S A-ADDIE!”

Status Update:
He has regained consciousness but drifts in and out of coherency. For now he will remain in the ICU but any improvement, however small, is welcome.
Disturbingly, he has called for Kylo Ren a few times. I do not know why this is.

I can’t bear to believe someone would hurt such a sweet and innocent person. I’m always here if need be.
