so apparently chuck wendig got fired from doing the upcoming darth vader comics because he was too confrontational about his politics on social media 

the guy isn’t even that far left and I’ve griped about opinions I didn’t like from him so it’s not like I idolize him or anything but he’s definitely done the most for queer representation and being staunch against the reactionary backlash and you know I love his books and hate how swept under the rug they were (in large part because of reactionaries) and I was really really eager for those comics and so. I’m pretty fucking pissed they did this to Wendig but more broadly I’m pretty fucking pissed that Disney/Marvel/Lucasfilm openly did this because of someone’s “uncivil” center-left politics

I’m pretty Fucking Pissed. god damn. I can’t even figure out which angle to approach this from. the horrible political statement it makes, or that it happened to a personal favorite SW author

Now that he had an unobstructed look of him, Hux noticed the bruises on the side of his brow and face, the hair tangled with dirt and matted with sweat, the scar beading with fresh blood where the too fresh skin tore again, and those eyes, bright and swimming as if Kylo’s body was running on adrenaline and not much else.

Kylo’s eyes scanned the crowd until they landed on Hux and his dirty face broke out in the widest, possibly a little deranged grin. He straightened – or attempted to – shook off Finn’s hands and set out to Hux, stomping with clear effort and purpose and only stumbling twice. Hux watched him with growing apprehension, still too overwhelmed by the adrenaline and relief to move but a single muscle in his body, until Kylo came to a halt in front of him.

“You know, don’t you,” he said.

“Wha-” what should I know , Hux didn’t get to finish because the question was cut off by warm, chapped lips against his, prickly with salt crust and melting with desperation.

Kylo Ren broke off the kiss before Hux could even begin to process it, grinned again, bloody winked at Hux and then promptly passed out.

Everyone just look at the perfection that the amazing @theearlgreyalpha drew for a scene in the last chapter in my fic Point of No Return. It’s so perfectly captured I can’t even. Kylo barely holding himself upright, Hux having the biggest WTF moment of his life and all that for all the Resistance around to see! Priceless:))
