It was odd that he hadn’t seen techie for days. If there was something wrong Techie would tell him so the fact that he had called out but still had t told him any reason for it left matt worried that something was wrong. He let his concerns be pushed away until it had been at least four days without seeing his best friend. At this point he knew something was up and he needed to check on techie.
Matt stopped when he came to rest in front of techies quater door. He knew the ginger was in there because he could hear him moving around. He knocked for a while but there was no answer but still he could hear movement.
“ I’m coming in.” He said
He input the code techie had given him a while ago. A sharp breath was sucked in as he saw his best friend then the scent hit his nose. Techie was in rut the whole room smelled of it. He wasn’t even aware that the redhead was an alpha but techie didn’t know that matt was an omega. The scent dampening soap may have hidden his scent but did nothing to change how his hormones reacted when presented with an alpha especially one in rut. Against better judgment he stepped fully into techies room shutting the door behind him. He told himself it was so others wouldn’t smell techies rut.
Techie let out a loud OOF as he was shoved away, air getting suddenly knocked out of his lungs. The extra distance between their bodies makes his dick slip out of Matt, and Techie catches his breath with wide, hurt eyes focused on Matt’s face. “Wh-wha… d-did I- um, M-Matt- are you-?” He can’t finish anything he tries to say, tripping and stumbling over each word like his tongue is made of lead.
He kneels before Matt, naked and trembling, utterly vulnerable, and feels his world self-destruct.
Matt doesn’t want this, want him. Techie… did something wrong, and now Matt thinks he’s disgusting. It’s a sharp stab to his heart, and he fights back hot tears.
