earlier today i saw a very cute selfie posted by @moonwalkingcrab >here< and an excellent photo of Domhnall Gleeson >here< and so i smooshed those inspirations together into this portrait of Techie, which i wholeheartedly dedicate to you, MWC!!! (^   O ^) thank you for filling my day with soft vibes! ❤ (and actually, this makes me feel like i’m sneaking into the territory of the soft-flower-crown-portrait queen @the-pudding-is-a-lie ! heheh! X3)

Another scan from the Dredd script and visuals book 

I’m not gonna lie that @kazzlet and I couldn’t quite take the thought of Domhnall with his eyes moving around like its described above; we may of laughed a little too much ^

I’ve included some of Techie’s concept art as references so you kinda get the idea of what they were thinking of with the whole acid in the eyes and then replacing his eyes – but gotta say I’m glad they went with Dom and the look he has in the movie (gives him more soul and emotion, which is probably what they wanted) and the way Ma gets rid of his eyes

Also who was it that Domhnall said was like a kicked dog?

(oh yeah that was Hux) 

I’m glad we got the version of Techie that we did!

Also some photos I screen-shotted from the Dredd DVD where you get some shots of his work station and the collection of headphones he probably salvages the copper wire from, as well as a soldering iron
