Kylux Titleception 2018
Welcome Everyone! Kylux Titleception sign ups are here.
Titleception is an event where each person participating is randomly assigned 3-4 titles and they create a work based on at least one of those titles. This can be a fic, art, cosplay, whatever you’re inspired to create!
Titles will be collected through submissions as well as random generators in order to provide a wide variety of titles.
If you are so inspired, you are more than welcome to create for as many titles as you’d like.
Fics can be submitted to the Titleception AO3 collection, which will be coming soon, you may submit to us here or also post on your own blog and tag us. Other works (art,etc) can also be submitted here, or post on your own blog and tag us.
The official posting window is from March 1 – March 31, however, you are more than welcome to submit outside of that window!
In April, we’ll have a master list of all the works created for this event!
How it works
- We collect a bunch of titles and put them in a title master list

- Each person will get assigned 3-4 random titles from which to choose from
- You write a Kylux fic with one of those titles, adjacent pairings are encouraged, and side ships are acceptable so long as Kylux (or adjacent) is the main pairing
- You are free to do more than one of the titles if you choose
- Submit your fic to the AO3 collection or to the blog
At the end, we’ll reveal all the possible titles and so anyone interested can write fics for them
* If you made a fanwork for each title and would like additional titles please contact us and we will happily assign you some more.
Rules

- Have fun
- Kylux as the main pair. Side pairings welcome but Kylux must be the main focus
- Create a Kylux (or adjacent) related work based on one of the titles you’re assigned (one title for each work)
- Any genre, rating, or content is welcome just so long as it’s Kylux
- Please make sure all works are tagged properly to the best of your ability
Dates
- Participation Sign ups start on Dec 1st and end Feb 15th
- Title Submissions Start Dec 1st and end Dec 31st (if you have anything you want to put forward for a title please be sure to send it to us during this time)
- We will be assigning titles Jan 4th through Jan 6th (you may start work on your fic/art as soon as you have your titles)
- Submission of completed works start March 1st and run through March 31st (any works finished earlier than this may be posted on Tumblr at anytime but Ao3 reveals will not start until March 1st so please remember to let us know if you finish early so we can work something out with you)
- Works finished after March 31st can and will still be posted on the Titleception blog, though anything posted/submitted after the Master Post is finished will not be added to it for the event
- Master Post of all completed works for the event will go up on April 14th
- A Master Post of all the titles collected over the event will go up on April 6th so anyone may continue creating fic or art outside of the event if they wish
If anyone has any questions or concerns do not hesitate to reach out to one of the mods Kittens or Magic, or in our ask box. We will respond as quickly as we are able to. And remember to sign up here by Feb 15th.

Tiny Kylo’s Halloween Cards!
Tiny Kylo loves sending mail (he’s been sending cards for Christmas/Winter holidays, Star Wars Day, and Valentine’s Day!) but he really wanted to do something festive for Halloween!!
If you want to receive a card in the mail from Tiny Kylo and friends, just fill out this form! It’s free and open to anyone, international is ok too!!
He has two cards to choose from this time: A Kylux themed card and a card with all 5 current Tinies! You can choose one or the other or even both! I have 50 of each, so sign up soon if you want one!
I will be sending out the first round of cards on the 15th or 16th, depending on when they get to me! All of the cards will be in a ~spooky~ Halloween themed envelope too! (unless you need it in a blank one, just let me know in the “special requests” section!)
As always, none of your info will be posted or shared anywhere, this is just for me to send the cards!

Meet Up Details
Hello all,
Because our normal meet up spot is now a party hotel, this year we’re moving to the Westin. As always, the meet up is 7pm on Friday. We’ll be meeting on the floor above the Lobby, which has an alcove to the left (if you’re facing the elevators and standing over the front desk).
Because it’s Dragon Con and stuff happens, the location may change, but the date/time will not, and all updates will be posted on the blog.

I’ve settled on three prize options for winners, who can pick one of the following:
—Comment-palooza: I hit up your AO3 account and leave gushy notes all over your work. Good for up to 100,000 words of reading. And if you’d like to save it for that big multi-chapter fic you’re writing, just let me know!

Looking at my followers count today I realised only 6 misguided souls remain until I reach 700 followers. Which is impressive and I honestly can’t understand it at all but I am not going to question your life choices 😀
Of course, the occasion calls for a give-away. I’m going to hold this one until 12 June (which is when I go on an important business trip and will have to do away with distractions) OR until I reach 700 followers, whichever comes first.
What’s to win?
Art. There’s almost 700 of you who think looking at my art doesn’t warrant hitting the unfollow button – so it has to have some merit. I am not great with colour (very much limited by my software) but I do decent sketches and lineart. Go through my art tag here to see if there’s anything interesting to you.

What can you ask for?
