I am 100% behind this. Make it happen

@lenina-phasma requested phasma in O1 for the NSFW expression challenge. This is easily the best thing I have drawn in a loooong time.
hux & poe // animal shelter au // a follow-up to this and this // for gingerpilot week, day 3 – fake/pretend relationship
~~
“And here’s the happy couple!” Someone yelled across the room as soon as Hux and Poe entered through the gate. Hux clutched the bowl of casserole closer, nudging into Poe, who’s one hand was on his shoulder, already giving encouragement. Poe had a six-pack of beer in the other, but he didn’t sacrifice the one on Hux’s shoulder to wave at everyone gathered in the yard.
They were invited to a first-day-of-summer type outside picnic one block over. And since Poe was on good terms with every neighbor in the vicinity, it was obvious they were invited.
While Hux would rather spend the day together with Poe, or at the shelter—now that he had finally quit his job, after a very long talk with Poe about their lives, and listing pros and cons about all of it. He felt already more settled only a week after he walked out of the firm’s offices for the last time. At the moment he took it easy, giving himself a long overdue vacation. He had eyed several times the ‘employees wanted’
poster at the shelter—he would not work at the same one as Poe, but since Poe was in charge of all three shelters in this city, he did travel from one to another frequently.
They had moved in together almost three months ago, when coincidentally their both leases were up in the same week. So now they were in a lovely cottege-type house right in between all three shelters, cutting down on the commute time.
Hux took a deep breath and followed Poe where he had walked faster to reach the hosts of this little get-together.
It took only a short conversation for someone to ask their intended wedding date. Hux was about to respond that they weren’t even engaged yet, when Poe wrapped a hand around his middle and in a very loud voice announced a date in late August.
When they got through several congratulations and three toasts, Hux dragged Poe to sit by the poolside.
“And I didn’t get to tell you I do.” he whispered in Poe’s ear, kissing the cheek.
“Do you want to?” Poe smiled, running a hand up and down Hux’s shoulder.
Hux lightly swatted at Poe’s chest, in a mock affront, “I expected a bit more romance, perhaps you getting on your knees.”
Poe hummed at that, “I can still do that.”
“You better!” Hux leaned closer to Poe and kissed him.

I like her too.
I was listening to a bunch of cast interviews and something Laura Dern said really struck me. She was talking about the design of the character being very feminine, as opposed to the way Strong Female Characters are often expected to look. And it got me thinking.
When she is first introduced, Poe off-handedly mentions some battle– he recognizes her name because she’s a goddamned war hero. A famous one. One a cocky flyboy like Poe has heard of and admires. (Quick aside: I love Poe Dameron. I love that he was given a character arc in this movie in which he was allowed to fuck up. This is not me criticizing him.) I think that’s notable– Poe would not be admiring an Admiral who was known for, say, finding a diplomatic solution.
Poe is not wrong to be surprised by her appearance; in most movies, a female military hero would either be dressed like a man (not complaining about the other Resistance officers being in uniform; I like that, too) or would be full-on femme fatale, her femininity played only as weaponized sexuality. Rose and Rey, much as I adore them, are much closer to the former; they are female, but dressed in a completely practical and mostly gender-neutral way. Holdo is different; Holdo is feminine. She is not girly or sexy; her femininity is not the sort that is fetishized. She is very much a woman, stately and elegant with her pastel hair and beautifully draped gown.
And underneath that? From what we see of her in the movie– she has a spine of goddamn steel. She is called on in a time of extreme stress, and she faces it calmly. She is firm with Poe, but not unkind– though she does seem exasperated by him. In that same situation I’d be so stressed I’d be snapping at everyone who dared speak to me. She faces her own death with quiet dignity, smiling as she bids Leia farewell. The idea to weaponize the jump to lightspeed is brilliant, and the act shows someone who is unafraid of causing her own death if it lets her save everyone else– there is a different strength required for that than for sitting and waiting for her eventual demise. An active sacrifice instead of a passive one.
This quiet, dignified, soft, feminine woman did more damage to the First Order than everyone else in the film combined, and she did it with a gentle smile.
Holdo was utterly unexpected, and I love her.

Hot-weather fun with these cuties 💕💕💕 Done as a Patreon reward by the ever-amazing @inchells! May the Fourth be with everyone always!

Kylo/Poe – Now You Belong to the Supreme Leader
Being Supreme Leader of the First Order is stressful. Every day when Kylo gets back to his quarters, his beautiful rebel pet helps relieve him of his tension… Poe has known what Ben liked long before he even became Kylo Ren.
//part of the princess slave Poe comic series. Be gentle, Kylo! Poe still loves Ben Solo! thank you for all of the #darkpilot requests! May the Benpoe be with us!
