So, bare with me… Techie being transferred to the Star Wars universe is a beautiful and well-documented thing. But… what if Matt were another tech under Ma-Ma in the Dredd universe? He’d see Ma’s treatment of Techie and maybe offer to help him clean up, torn between his fear of Ma and his rage. When he snaps at Ma, he gets his own punishments…..
+ In the mornings, before he’s fully awake, he doesn’t shake or stutter. Later when he’s alert, all the trauma will rush back to him and he’ll start up again 😢
+ Techie loves to hold hands with the very few people he trusts because it helps ground him to his current reality instead of bad memories and he feels safer ☺
