“P-please! Don’t h-hurt me, I’ll, I’ll do anyth-thing!”

Kylo looked down at the man, he sneered a bit. He knelt down to his level and gave a small smirk “Anything? You mean that do you? What do you have to offer me, pathetic man?” he held his hair to make him look at him in the eyes.

Techie’s breath caught in his throat. Could this powerful man really want to… Help him? It was such an insane thought that he nearly laughed aloud. Instead he choked it back and answered with a tremulous, unbelieving voice, “Y-yes! Of c-course!” Techie was about ready to throw himself at Ren’s feet and kiss them.

Without realizing it, he leant into his gentle touch and practically purred; How long had it been since someone had touched him kindly? Years? A decade?

“I won’t t-tell anyone, p-promise!”

“A-addie? Ad-ddie? Addie! Wh-why are y-you s-so small? Are you o-okay?” He clutches onto her as if for dear life, cradling her close to his chest.

“My b-baby girl,” he sobs.

She looked at him confused because she didn’t know who he was

“It’s T-Techie, remember? Un- uncle Techie? Y-your papa?” His eyes get wider and wider. This can’t be happening!

She tilted her head confused she wanted to tell him something anything but couldn’t

Techie races through the hallways with Adeline securely in his arms, uncaring of what looks he might get. He gets to Ren’s door and smashes his fist against it, screaming, “REN, REN, PLEASE, IT’S A-ADDIE!”

Techie and Adeline Hux [Closed] [Part 3]

Techie’s eyes widened at the realization that she couldn’t (or wouldn’t?) speak. Okay. Deep breaths. First things first.

“We’re going on a t-tr-trip, Adeline, o-okay? Come here w-with pops,” he said as soothingly as he could manage and picked her up. He stood up straight on his own shaking legs and walked right out of their room, totally shirtless, to find someone who could maybe help: Kylo Ren.

“P-please! Don’t h-hurt me, I’ll, I’ll do anyth-thing!”

He eased himself onto the bed at Ren’s insistence, running his fingers over the fabric and then gripping it hard. “I’m T-Techie. And I n-never got to find out wh-what happened to her. I was r-released before the J-Judges could get to h-her,” he confessed, defeated. Most nights he couldn’t sleep, wondering if she’d slip into his room once more.

“I know wh-who you a-are, Lord Ren. Hux, I- uh, I mean, the General, keeps me up to d-date.” His cheeks color. It’s strange to be invited to call such a powerful man by his first name.

He meets Ren’s gaze from below his orange eyelashes. “M-my memories? Y-you can help?”

Mitaka sighs defeatedly as his broken data pad breathes it’s last breath in the middle of his report to the general. Which is due in the morning. He grabs his communicator and puts in a request for a technician to come look at it.

techiehux:

Techie hadn’t been having a good day. Not at all. Matt was nowhere to be found, Hux was busy doing who knows what, and his supervisor, Leslie, absolutely hated his guts. Which was why he jumped at the chance to get away from the monotony (and Leslie’s whining), accepting a recently requested job he hadn’t even looked at.

The last thing he expected was to find himself outside Lieutenant Mitaka’s quarters and realize he left his toolbox…somewhere? But it was too late to go find it, he’d knocked on the door and now it was opening!

“O-okay,” Techie pants. “You win.” Feeling lightheaded and warm, he leans against Mitaka’s shoulder and lets out a long exhale. “I s-st-still don’t get *why* though,” he confesses, and buries his nose into the crook of his neck.

“We’ve n-never even talked.”
