Techie’s face, previously exhausted-looking and dull, brightened at the surprise gift. “Nao!” he gasps, smiling wide, “Th-Thank you! I was having a sh-, uh, s-sucky day but you’ve made it so much better!” He leans down slightly to affectionately pet her hair, and then does the unexpected: Techie kisses the top of her head. “Happy Valentine’s Day, Nao.”

She knew that that silly holiday was today, but Foxglove didn’t much care. Well at least she didn’t normally. Now she had someone that she could give a gift to, even if it was just as a friend. Or whatever their relationship could be labeled; she wasn’t really sure.
She made her way to her personal section of the largest greenhouse. Once there she stopped in front of a large rose bush. Foxglove had raised this particular rose for years. It was now covered in large, yellow-orange blooms.
After several moments of looking it over, her gaze settled on one particularly large, beautiful flower. That would do perfectly.
She pulled a pair of shears from the leather pouch on her belt, and carefully cut the flower.
Foxglove made sure to cut the stem long enough for a vase.She tied a wide yellow ribbon around the rose and attached a note to it.
Foxglove then very quietly slipped into Techie’s room. He wasn’t in his bed, from the sounds of things he was showering.She placed the rose on his nightstand for him to see when he was done.

Happy Valentine’s day to the wonderful @obsessions-and-dreams (I’m sorry I missed the Leia buns) have the piss-baby being pissy about chocolate to show how much I love. How the two are connected, the world may never know.
Matt’s face flushed as he looked at the roses that were still clutches in his hands. Slowly his eyes rose to meet techies again a small smile spreading on his face. He sucked in a deep breath as he forced himself to keep his gaze steady with techies. He had bought the roses and now he was going to through with this. That’s what he told himself at least, not chicken out like he’d done every other time that he found himself in a similar situation.
“ t-they’re for you.”
“Sounds g-good!” Techie says, smiling so hard his rare dimples show. “I’ve got something f-for you, too, Mattie. When we get to my room, we’ll put the flowers in water and I’ll, um, sh-show you…” They walk side by side towards Techie’s quarters, which are thankfully not far off. He can’t pry his gaze off these beautiful roses.
