He has a black eye because he got into a bar fight. He really didn’t want to spill his drink all over that scary looking guy in a cowboy hat – unfortunately, his clumsy self couldn’t help it. At least there was a barman who was kind enough to save him from getting his nose broken. And who took him home because he blacked out.
